Welcome to BSCWT!

Since 1991, the primary and secondary schools of the Brentwood Borough have had the support of the Brentwood Schools Christian Worker Trust (BSCWT for short!). Our aim is to serve school communities by providing Christian learning and support through our team of staff and volunteers. Whether you're a school pupil, a member of school staff, a supporter of the Trust or a member of a local church, we hope you'll be able to find out more about who we are and what we do through this website. If you can't find what you're looking for, please let us know via the contact page.

Due to current government guidance, our office is currently closed.  However, all our staff team members are working from home seeking to support schools remotely as much as we can, as well as planning and preparing for when schools are able to open fully again.  We are also continuing to pray for our local schools, for school staff and for pupils in these  challenging times.

Please visit our new RESOURCES page for lots of useful stuff to help with learning and looking after your mental health at home.

Schools Work Sunday!

Thanks very much to everyone who helped us to celebrate Schools Work Sunday on 2nd February!  This is a local initiative to encourage churches to raise awareness of, pray for and celebrate Christian ministry taking place in local schools.  That includes the work of BSCWT, but also the work of many others, including the Gideons, 'Open the Book' assembly teams, church schools and many Christian staff and pupils who work and study in schools.

Listen to us on Phoenix98FM!

We made a recent guest appearance on Phoenix98FM, talking with Patrick Sherring about our work in schools.  You can listen to the interview here (it starts at 40 minutes and 45 seconds and ends at 1 hour 16 minutes and  30 seconds).
